Buy land in Kinshasa from the U.S., without getting scammed.

From Houston to Atlanta to New York, you are building a future back home. Do not let 7,000 miles cost you a plot. We verify everything, title, boundaries, seller, before you pay a cent.

The real problem

Buying from the U.S. adds three risks.

Distance

You cannot inspect the plot, measure the boundaries or meet the neighbors. Sellers know it, and some take advantage.

Trust

From abroad, "I know the seller" is not enough. You need written proof: a title checked against the register, the seller's identity confirmed.

Logistics

International payment, power of attorney, presence at signing, and a 6 to 9 hour time difference with Kinshasa. We schedule video visits when it suits you.

The remote method

How we secure your purchase, from the U.S.

1. Document audit (from $89)

We verify the authenticity of the Certificate of Registration with the Registrar of Real Estate Titles and check it against the official registers. Done entirely remotely.

2. On-site audit (from $219)

A surveyor visits the plot, measures the real boundaries, checks the neighbors and geolocates it. You receive photos and a map, as if you were there.

3. Proxy at signing

With a power of attorney legalized before a notary abroad, a Parcelle Safe Kin representative attends the signing of the transfer deed at the Land Titles Registry on your behalf and verifies the seller's identity on the day.

4. Monitoring after purchase

Our Watch service alerts you to any suspicious activity on your plot: attempted spoliation, new registration, cadastral change.

These steps are bundled into our Diaspora package, built precisely for buying from abroad.

Paying from the U.S.

Pay in USD, no surprises.

You pay for our services by international wire transfer (SWIFT, via Equity BCDC) or mobile money. Our prices are already set in USD, so there is no conversion guesswork. You get a receipt, and your case reference keeps everything traceable. No hidden commission on the transaction: our only revenue is the audit you pay for.

Frequently asked

Buying from the U.S., explained.

Can I buy land in Kinshasa without leaving the U.S.?
Yes. With a legalized power of attorney and a reliable proxy on the ground, many of our diaspora clients never travel before signing. The co-signed report, geolocated photos and a live video walkthrough replace your physical presence.
How do I pay from the U.S.?
You pay by international wire transfer (SWIFT, via Equity BCDC) or mobile money. Our service prices are already set in USD, so there are no conversion surprises. You receive a receipt and your case reference makes reconciliation easy.
Who signs on my behalf on the day of sale?
A Parcelle Safe Kin proxy, acting on a special legalized power of attorney that states the plot, the maximum price and the conditions. They confirm the signer is the actual title holder before any payment is made.
How long does the whole process take?
Expect 2 to 3 weeks for document and on-site verification, then the time needed for negotiation and the signing of the transfer deed at the Land Titles Registry. Rushing means skipping a step, and paying for it later.
